A Work in Process: Improving a Playdough Process
Week One: This week you will be working to answer two essential questions. What is an enginner? and What is technology? Click on your teacher's name to open a Padlet where you will answer these questions. You will find a blank space on the page to double click. This will open a text box where you will type. Write your first name where it says "title" and then write your answer to the questions where it says "write something" Watkins Trost Johns Romanelli Hall
First, you will choose a theme. Then, you will enter your name and select your grade level. You will have 3 minutes to spin the wheels and create a prompt that you like. After the 3 minutes is up, you will choose the format for your writing and begin. You need to write at least 6 high quality sentences that match the topic. Then, you may add a picture. Once the teacher checks your work you may print. Click here to create a fun writing prompt.
Doodle for Google
Today you will be typing in the information for your final Doodle for Google page. You will type in all of the required information, print the form and then this will be the paper you do your final artwork on. We will submit these to the Doodle for Google contest!
As a class we will watch the Brainpop video on Bullying to add more ideas to our discussion. Bullying can look many different ways! Next, you will use your creativity and your publishing skills to design an anti-bullying bumper sticker using Microsoft Publisher. Bumper stickers are a good way to catch people's attention and raise awareness about an object or a topic. You will want a catchyslogan to make your bumper sticker stand out.
